Ping is a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist with over a decade of clinical experience in healthcare and community settings. Known for his grounded presence and ability to build strong therapeutic alliances even in complex situations, his practice focuses on two core areas: insight-oriented psychotherapy and functional recovery. He supports clients experiencing emotional distress, relational challenges, identity concerns, and life transitions, helping them move beyond mere symptom relief toward deeper self-understanding, emotional regulation, and lasting change.
Ping also works closely with individuals impacted by injury, psychological trauma, workplace stress, and motor vehicle accidents (MVA). His approach is practical, collaborative, and goal-focused, helping clients restore stability and gradually return to daily functioning. Furthermore, Ping practices with deep cultural sensitivity, recognizing the unique experiences of individuals navigating cross-cultural identities, immigration, and intergenerational dynamics.
Outside of his clinical work, Ping is deeply engaged in creative writing and immersive storytelling projects. He believes that creativity offers a powerful pathway to understanding the human experience, and he often brings this unique perspective into his therapeutic work to help clients explore meaning, identity, and personal growth. He also highly values physical wellness and lifelong learning, viewing both as absolutely essential components of sustainable mental health.
